RV Rental Requirements

Age requirement. All renters must be 25 years of age to rent a RV.

Proper ID; Provide proof of a valid driver’s license for the driver and whomever will be towing the camper and renter must submit a copy to H&L RVS.

Insurance. Once a renter has been approved, and the rental agreement has been signed, the renter is covered with comprehensive and collision. Insurance is supplied to the renter at a reduced cost The renter is however responsible for any deductibles. The deductible is $1,000.00

The renter’s tow vehicle must have the proper equipment installed.  The receiver must have a 2 5/16 inch ball, 7 Pin receptacle to plug in the 7 pin plug on the RV.  All lights must be working, running lights, stop, tail, left turn and right turn and flashers. With These campers a brake controller must be installed in the tow vehicle. A jack and tire tool may be needed to change a tire. If you don’t have one, we will loan you one.

It the renter’s responsibility to make sure the proper equipment is installed on the tow vehicle. All tow vehicles must have a break controller

RV Operations training. The renter must go through hands-on training of the complete operation of the RV. Plan on spending at least 45 minutes after signing the rental agreement before you depart.

No smoking policy – We ask that absolutely no one smoke inside the camper. You Will Lose your security deposit. No Exceptions.

Additional Fees – There is a $75.00 fee for LP gas use and disinfecting the RV for the next Guest. A $75.00 cleaning fee will be assessed if the camper is brought back dirty. The Black water, gray water and Fresh water tanks must be brought back empty. A fee of $50.00 will be assessed to dump tanks that have anything in them. Gray and black tanks must be fully empty upon return. If your campsite does not have a dump station; The truck stops usually have a dump station for a small fee.

Reservation DepositA Non Refundable reservation deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve a camper. NO EXCEPTIONS. Rental fees must be paid one week in advance. Security deposits are due 7 days prior to your rental date.

Security Deposit – A security deposit of $500.00 in state and $ 750.00 out of state. When you pay a deposit with a credit card it is run as a Pre-Authorization a hold is placed on that credit card for the security amount. If the Camper is returned in the same condition, and all rules and requirements have been met, then your Bank will lift the hold. If there is any damage to the camper, then the cost of damages will come out of the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the security deposit, you are responsible for additional costs and or fees.

Pet Fees- there is a minimum of $50.00 non-refundable Fee Per Pet. Two Pets Maximum allowed. No puppies, birds, or cats allowed. Not all campers are pet friendly. Please notify us if you plan to bring a pet at the time of reservation and we will let you know which campers are available. Failure to notify us at time if reservation will result in forfeiture of your $500.00 security deposit. No Exceptions!

For your safety, we ask that you do not exceed 60 miles per hour when towing Our RVS.

·         Check tire pressure on route to your destination. Inflate to manufacturer's specifications.

·         Each time you stop, do a walk around to make sure there are no problems, and everything is ok.
